Female genital mutilation (FGM) exposed in Sweden

silhouette-shadow-young-girl60 cases of female genital mutilation (FGM) among schoolgirls have been found by school health services in the small Swedish city of Norrköping, with 30 of the girls all in one class.  Of the 30, 28 of girls had been subjected to the most severe form.

This horrible butchering allegedly happens when girls travel back to the country of their ancestors. This is found in Muslim cultures especially in Africa.  With immigration, this horrible procedure has been reported in Western countries and America.  This brutal procedure has no scientific health basis, in fact, it. is unhealthy.

Congress grills IRS Commissioner

Lois Lerner
Lois Lerner

A congressional hearing into how the IRS lost thousands of former IRS official Lois Lerner’s emails makes it fairly obvious what has occurred, the destruction of evidence related to a congressional investigation about abuse of power by government agencies. The emails were annihilated 10 days after the House Ways & Means Chairman Dave Camp’s letter arrived.

Not only did the emails go poof but so did the hard drive.  Now IRS Commissioner Koskinen has made the fantastic claim that the hard drive was thrown out and recycled.  The IRS has a letter from the House Ways and Means committee requesting Lois Lerner’s emails and they go ‘poof’, instead of keeping the hard drive it is thrown out!
This week the IRS was  unable to produce emails from six other employees.  The IRS has also claimed it recycled its backup tapes so that it only had six months of server backups available.

U.S. Southern Accents

In the U.S. the South is a diverse region with various dialects. A person from Texas is going to sound different than someone from South Carolina. Linguists believe Southern accents closely resemble the accents of their ancestral homelands-English, Celtic, French.

Who Are The Kurds?

The Kurds ancient ancestors were known as the Medes (an Indo-European people). For most of their history the Kurds were overshadowed  by the Persian Empire and overpowered by the Ottoman Empire. During the conquests of Islam most Kurds became Muslim, most are Sunni Muslims.

The Kurds are not Arabs, actually they have a deep hatred for the Arabs. Today the Kurds are the largest ethnic group (27 million) without a homeland.  The Kurds live in northern Iraq, western Iran, eastern Syria, and eastern Turkey.  Kurdistan in northern Iraq is an autonomous region with its own government and military, which was created after Saddam Hussein’s repeated attacks and use of chemical weapons on the Kurds.

Traditionally a pastoral culture, today the Kurds control much of northern Iraq’s oil production. When the Iraqi government’s army abandoned their posts the Kurdish army seized Kirkuk, a major oil city, which is considered an ancestral city to the Kurds. In 615 BC, the Medes joined with Babylonians, to overthrow the Assyrians at Ninevah, Assur, and  Arraphu (modern Kirkuk).

In the month Arahsamna the Medes went down to Arraphu (modern Kirkuk)-The Babylonian Chronicle.

Today the Kurdish army has evolved to a well-trained, disciplined guerrilla force. The term used for the  Kurdish army is Peshmerga, which literally means “one who faces death.”

Music Break: Alone Yet Not Alone

The song Alone Yet Not Alone by Joni Eareckson Tada is from the movie Alone Yet Not Alone.

The  Alone Yet Not Alone historical drama from the Christian film industy is based on a true story. The film is based on the novel Alone Yet Not Alone: Their faith became their freedom by Tracy Tracy Leininger Craven, which is inspired by the true story of Barbara and Regina Leininger, who were kidnapped from their German immigrant family in  1750s Pennsylvania.  An inspiring action packed film recounts the faith and courage of a immigrant family as they face hardship and loss during the French and Indian War.

U.S. Patent and Trademark Office Cancels The Redskins’ Trademarks

redskins-1The U.S. Patent Office has canceled the Redskins team’s trademark as it is deemed to offensive. An  Associated Press-GfK poll shows that nationally nearly four in five Americans do not think the team should change its name. Reminds one of dictatorial Socialist government reprisals.  The involvement of the government in this issue is a very different matter.   The situation of an appointed panel taking the right to censor trademarked names in this manner is uncomfortable. This has gone from an issue involving  public opinion to the issue of does the  government have the right to meddle with a business in this manner.  There are other trademarks that might not pass this panel’s smell test if challenged, such as Aunt Jemima products. The market should dictate this decision, not an appointed panel in Washington D.C.

In what might be the most significant pressure put on Washington Redskins owner Daniel Snyder to change his team’s name, the United States Patent and Trademark Office has canceled the team’s trademarks on the basis that it is “disparaging to Native Americans.”

Sunnis and Shiites

The two main sub-groups of Islam is Sunnis and Shiites

The Sunni-Shiite split stemmed from political differences, who should succeed and lead Muslims after Muhammad’s death in 632. The Sunni branch thinks the most able and pious should be the leader. So after Muhammad’s death his close companion, Abu Bakr, became his successor.  The Shiite branch thinks the succession should be based on family. So after Muhammad’s death succession should go to his cousin/son-in-law Ali bin Abu Talib. Through the years other differences have formed between the Sunnis and Shiites.

The Wahhabi sect of Sunnis are radicals, this sect is dominate in Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia spends billions for the propagation of Wahhabism, funding schools, mosques, and charities.

The majority (about 85%) of Muslims are Sunnis.  Approximately 10 to 15 percent of Muslims follow the Shiite branch of Islam.

Six More IRS Employees Emails Missing

Lois Lerner

Six more IRS employee computers crashed and all their emails are gone; poof!  The six were involved in the targeting of conservative groups, religious groups, and groups that disagreed with the current administration. Among those whose emails are gone is Nikole Flax, who was chief of staff to Lerner’s boss and then-deputy commissioner Steven Miller.  The Federal Records Act requires emails to be saved, on the IRS website is instructions for employees regarding the  Federal Records Act; print and file the emails.

Investigators from the House Ways and Means Committee interviewed IRS technicians Monday. The technicians said they first realized that Lerner’s emails were lost in February or March — months before they informed congressional investigators, said a statement by two top Republicans on the Ways and Means Committee, chairman Dave Camp of Michigan and subcommittee chairman Charles Boustany of Louisiana.

The two lawmakers called on the Justice Department to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate the IRS, something Attorney General Eric Holder has declined to do in the past.

Massive Exodus of Christians from Mosul

mosul photoChristians fleeing Mosul have found a safe haven in Kurdistan (an autonomous region of northern Iraq). Mosul, in northern Iraq, had a Christian population of around 10,000 until Sunni terrorist group ISIS took the city last week. Most of the Christians have fled to Kurdistan seeking refuge and protection.

“There was panic,” he (Father Pios Affas) told FRANCE 24. “Everybody fled, carrying whatever they could. Ninety percent have left and only 10 percent remain.”

“They stayed because they were old, or because they didn’t have cars or simply didn’t have the possibility to leave,” he added. “Those who knew it would be worse for them said: ‘it’s better to die in our homes than on the roads’.”

Fatah Posts Cartoon Mocking Kidnapped Teens in Israel as “Rats”

The current administration backs and supports these people and threatens Israel to give in to the demands of Fatah.  As long as the Palestinians do not regard the Jews as people there will never be a peace deal.  The rats represent the three teens kidnapped in Israel.

The official Facebook page Palestinian Authority head Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah party has posted a cartoon comparing the three kidnapped Israeli students to rats.

The post on the “Palestinian National Liberation Movement “Fatah” / Central Page” shows three rats with Stars of David dangling from a fishing rod, accompanied by an Arabic caption in red reading “A Master Stroke”; its implications are unmistakable.

Gosple of Matthew 24:7

the-bible-opened-to-the-book-of-matthew-1Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. Matthew 24:7

Commentary: The word nation here is from the Greek term ethnos. The Greek term ethnos literally means a tribe, nation, or people group, which refers to ethnic groups. In the Bible, it refers to all non-Jewish nations. One of the signs of the end time is a marked increase in conflict between ‘nations’  i.e. tribes, or nations, or ethnic groups.
