Underground Ocean Exists Beneath Earth’s Crust

Then God said, “Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters.” God made the expanse, and separated the waters which were below the expanse from the waters which were above the expanse; and it was so. God called the [e]expanse heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, a second day. Genesis 1:6-8

In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on the same day all the fountains of the great deep burst open, and the floodgates of the sky were opened.  Genesis 7:11

A battered diamond found in Brazil confirms a long-held theory: Earth’s mantle holds an ocean’s worth of water.

“It’s actually the confirmation that there is a very, very large amount of water that’s trapped in a really distinct layer in the deep Earth,” said Graham Pearson, lead study author and a geochemist at the University of Alberta in Canada. The findings were published today (March 12) in the journal Nature. LiveScience

Scientists have struggled for years trying to understand the source of Earth’s oceans and the planet’s water. Until recently, the prevailing scientific theory held that icy comets hit the Earth while it was still forming. A discovery last year by geologists seems to prove that the real source of the earth’s water is from deep underground, amazingly similar to the Bible’s account of creation, which described waters below and waters above (Genesis 1:7).

The first clue came in the form of a battered diamond found in Brazil. Graham Pearson, lead study author and a geochemist at the University of Alberta in Canada, discovered the diamond quite by accident while searching for a means of dating the diamonds. Diamonds that have come up from so deep from the earth are usually discarded by diamond miners since they are scarred and discolored, having little commercial value. This diamond contained a rare mineral called ringwoodite, which has never been found on the planet’s surface before. It only forms under extreme pressure and is only found in meteor fragments or is artificially made in laboratories.

The diamond was brought up from the earth’s mantle region, which stretches from 254 to 410 miles deep, by volcanic activity. The mantle, the hot rock layer between the crust and the core, makes up most of the earth’s volume. It has never been explored since it is incredibly deep and inaccessible, and the geothermal energy at that depth would melt any drill bit.

The ringwoodite found embedded in the diamond was 1.5 percent water, contained not as a liquid but as hydroxide ions (oxygen and hydrogen molecules bound together). This suggests there could be a vast store of water in the mantle transition zone.  BreakingNewsIsrael

Merkel Offers Millions In Cash Handouts For Migrants To Return Home

Election year in Germany.

Angela Merkel will offer cash handouts worth millions of pounds for migrants to leave Germany in an effort to silence criticism of her ‘open-door’ border policy.

In a highly-embarrassing U-turn over the ill-fated plan, which saw 1.2million migrants flock to the country, Mrs Merkel has now vowed to send many of them home.

The German chancellor agreed a package of measures to speed up the deportation process for an estimated 450,000 migrants who have been rejected asylum.

The controversial plan, which marks a significant toughening of previous proposals, includes a £76million scheme that will offer migrants cash incentives to leave Germany voluntarily.

Many will see the move as a desperate attempt for Miss Merkel to claw back support ahead of her challenging re-election bid in September.

Criticism of her decision to leave Germany’s borders open and welcome all refugees during Europe’s migration crisis in 2015 has led to a surge in support for anti-immigrant parties.  DailyMail

Saudi Arabia Deports 40,000 Muslim Pakistanis, Citing Terrorism Concerns

Saudi Abdullah Al-Sadoun, chairman of the security committee calls “for thoroughly scrutinizing the Pakistanis before they are recruited for work in the Kingdom.”

Saudi Arabia has deported a staggering 40,000 Pakistani migrant workers in the span of just four months, citing terrorism concerns.

The Saudi Gazette reported last week that “a number of Pakistanis were held in the crimes of drug trafficking, thefts, forgery and physical assault.” Authorities feared that some of the migrant workers were linked with ISIS, or as the Saudis call the terror group, Daesh. Other migrants were deported due to expired residency and work permits.

“Against this backdrop, Abdullah Al-Sadoun, chairman of the security committee of the Shoura Council, called for thoroughly scrutinizing the Pakistanis before they are recruited for work in the Kingdom,” added the Gazette. “He asked for more closer coordination with the concerned authorities in Pakistan to thoroughly check those coming to work in the Kingdom due to the involvement of a number of Pakistanis in security issues.”…

Is Saudi Arabia immune from the charge of Islamophobia because its leaders are Muslim? Or, better yet, is the Left’s entire hysterical crusade against Trump’s “Islamophobia” a red herring meant to delegitimize the political opposition DailyWire

Syrian Asylum Seeker Is Jailed For Life In Sweden

How many like Haisam Omar Sakhanh are already settled in Europe.

A Swedish court on Thursday sentenced a Syrian man to life imprisonment for participation in the 2012 mass execution of seven government troops in Syria.

The Stockholm District Court ruled that 46-year-old refugee Haisam Omar Sakhanh joined the armed group Suleiman Company in early May 2012, and shot a person dead with an assault rifle.

Judge Tomas Zander said the victim, who was not identified, was shot dead along with six others ‘under particularly cruel circumstances’.

The seven men who were shot were part of the Syrian regime who had been captured by the independent Islamist group, which was founded in 2011…

In Sweden, life imprisonment is normally ten years. The court said Sakhanh should then be expelled from the country and banned from returning. DailyMail

Nigerian ‘Refugee’ Kills 22-Year-Old Woman Volunteering At Refugee Center

Another life lost.

Swiss police have yesterday arrested a 27-year-old Nigerian asylum seeker who is suspected of stabbing a young woman to death in the German town of Ahaus. Following the brutal murder this weekend, the refugee had fled to Switzerland.

The fatal knife attack took place on Sunday night when the 22-year-old victim, named as Soopika P., was stabbed several times in the head, chest, and neck. Shortly after, she died in the hospital.

After the killing, the Germans put out a Europe-wide arrest warrant, leading to the capture of the Nigerian national in the city of Basel. “Today’s arrest of the suspect in Switzerland is a quick success,” the German Justice Ministry commented. Germany has asked Switzerland to extradite the 27-year-old, who will be interrogated following his return.

According to Bild, Soopika P. comes from an Indian background, although earlier reports mention her family originating in Sri Lanka. The woman was voluntarily working with asylum seekers in a center in her hometown of Ahaus where she may have met the attacker. The prosecutor confirmed that the Nigerian “had been trying to contact the woman” in the weeks preceding the stabbing.  Gatestone

Whoopi Goldberg Sits Next To Tiffany Trump At New York Fashion Week After Tiffany Shunned By Fashion Editors

That was very nice of Whoopi.

Way to go Whoopi!

At the Phillip Plein show on Monday, Tiffany Trump was left sitting alone after several magazine editors moved so they wouldn’t have to be near President Donald Trump‘s daughter. Some even tweeted that they had changed seats, with former Wall Street Journal columnist Christina Binkley posting photos of the 23-year-old with empty seats beside her.

Nikki Ogunnaike, senior fashion editor at Elle, tweeted that the show started late due to chaotic seating changes, with editors at the show “fleeing” so they wouldn’t have to sit around Tiffany. In response to a similar tweet from Alyssa Vingan Klein, editor-in-chief of Fashionista.com, Ogunnaike said she was with others down the hall.

The snub became the subject of conversation on Wednesday’s episode of The View, where Goldberg defended the University of Pennsylvania graduate and offered to sit next to her at future shows. People
