The manipulation of polls during the 2016 election continues.
Most of the top political polls that got the 2016 presidential race dead wrong are continuing to use a flawed methodology in rating President Trump’s approval ratings that favors Democrats, women and younger voters, according to a new analysis.
The report shows that the mainstream polls oversample an average of 29 percent more Democrats than Republicans and the results skew anti-Trump.
And, said the report from Bombthrowers.com, one outfit, the Economist, used 58 percent more Democrats than Republicans in a recent poll on Trump’s approval ratings.
Simpson called the practice “fraud.”
He also noted that the random sample used by many pollsters includes too many liberals and even illegal immigrants, and said that choosing “likely voters” is the best gauge. McLaughlin and Rasmussen use likely voters and show Trump’s approval rating higher than the others. WashingtonExaminer
22-year-old Sophie Pointon, plead guilty to perverting the course of justice and was sentenced to 16 months. Pointon had hopes of becoming a police officer.
Judge Christopher Batty told her: “Your malicious complaint has done a huge disservice to those seeking justice through the police and courts.”
A criminology student has been jailed after falsely claiming a taxi driver sexually assaulted her after he refused to accept a £10 note covered in kebab oil.
Sophie Pointon, 22, told police officers she had been molested in the back of the cab she had been picked up in after a night out.
The student rang police in the early hours of April 22, this year, then continued the lie by signing a statement giving an account of the attack, in Leeds, West Yorks.
Leeds Crown Court heard the driver, a father-of-five, was tracked down and kept in custody for six hours. He was also unable to work for four weeks as a result of the claim.
Kate Bisset, prosecuting, said the driver was interviewed and said he could recall Pointon being “extremely drunk” when she got into his car holding a kebab.
He said Pointon threw a £10 note at him when they reached the Hyde Park area but he refused to accept it as it was covered in oil from the kebab.
The driver said Pointon then became abusive and ran around the car opening doors. The prosecutor said: “He did not think much of it at the time because such incident with people who are intoxicated are not unusual.”…
A recording of a conversation between the driver and a phone operator at his taxi office supported his account.
The court heard a GPS tracker fitted to the car also revealed Pointon’s description of the taxi journey to be untrue. TelegraphUK
what is most troubling is that these anti-free speech beliefs and tactics are not simply embraced by a radical fringe. A recent Brookings Institute study found that a majority of students believe that disrupting speakers to silence them is “acceptable” and one in five students (19%) endorse the use of violence to silence an “offensive” speaker. A plurality of students believe that “hate speech” is not covered by the First Amendment, despite Supreme Court precedent establishing otherwise. DailyWire
As acts of political violence in America increase in regularity, a new poll shows that many college students have no problem with it.
Of those surveyed, a startling 19 percent claimed to support the use of violence to silence speakers they find offensive, the same perspective held by the increasingly violent Antifa groups around the country.
Wanting to see what college students in Washington, D.C. thought of Antifa, Campus Reform took to the campus of American University to ask students their opinion of the violent leftist organization recently labeled a domestic terror organization by the Department of Homeland Security.
Immediately, the students made it clear that they had no problem with the controversial group. CampusReform
