British Parents Refusing To Send Their Children On School Trips To Mosques Spark Fears Of Islamaphobia

Schools trying to intimidate parents.
Islamophobia” is a made up word by Muslim Brotherhood front group International Institute for Islamic Thought to silence legitimate criticism.

Schools are being issued with guidance about RE trips after it emerged some parents are refusing to allow children to visit mosques.

Families have the right to withdraw pupils from visits to places of worship. Some cite costs, while others are concerned about safety or a ‘political agenda’.

Now Staffordshire’s Standing Advisory Council for Religious Education (SACRE) has produced a document to help schools tackle the sensitive topic. It includes a template letter to parents, outlining the value of helping pupils understand different cultures and faiths.

SACRE said requests to withdraw children from these activities was ‘a serious matter’.

The document states: “While objections are raised about visits to a number of places of worship, they are most frequently about visits to mosques, which raises the bigger issue of Islamaphobia and how this can be addressed.” Sentinal

The students study six different religions.  They could visit a Church, a Synagogue, a Hindu temple, or a Sikh temple.   Why the heavy hand for a field trip to a mosque? That does not sound too inclusive.

In 2013, parents at Littleton Green Community School in Huntington, Staffordshire threatened with having their children (ages 8 – 11) labeled as racist in their education record.  Islam is a religion and not a race.

Parents were ordered to send their children to a workshop on Islam or have them labelled  as racist for the rest of their  school career…

“Refusal to allow your child to attend will result in a Racial Discrimination note being attached to your child’s education record, which will remain on this file throughout their school career.” DailyMail

That did not go over well.  The school backed down.

Yesterday parents at Littleton Green Community School in Huntington, Staffordshire, said the threat to the pupils aged between eight and 11 was ‘ludicrous’. Gillian Claridge, 55, said: ‘How dare they threaten to brand the children racist at such a young age? It’s going to make them feel like little criminals…

South Staffordshire MP Gavin  Williamson described the threat  as ‘bonkers’ and ‘a very heavy-handed approach’.  DailyMail

Agenda Driven

With the parent’s refusing to allow their children to take field trips to a mosque the Staffordshire’s Standing Advisory Council for Religious Education (SACRE) are coming up with different ideas to expose the students to Islam.

The advice includes tips on how to prepare schoolchildren for an RE trip so they ‘will be comfortable with any differences they see’. Suggestions range from having a representative of that particular faith visit the school in advance through to offering a virtual tour of a place of worship and having discussions in class.

Jihad Recruitment in UK mosques, British jihadists some were converted at quite a young age, acid attacks, honor killings.  pedophilia, Rotherham grooming rape gangs and the coverup, stabbings, running over people with vehicles…. I can understand the parents opposition to their children to visiting a mosque.
