Billy Graham to Lie in Honor in U.S. Capitol Rotunda, Funeral Will Be Under a ‘Canvas Cathedral’

“Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord. . . that they may rest from their labors and their works follow them.”
-Revelation 14:13

Billy Graham will finish the same way he started – under a large white tent in front of thousands of people.

Graham’s private funeral service will be held Friday, March 2, at noon in a canvas tent set up near The Billy Graham Library in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Before that, Speaker of the US House of Representatives Paul Ryan has announced that on Wednesday, February 28, Graham’s body will be brought to the US Capitol, where he will lie in honor in the Rotunda until Thursday, March 1.

Members of the public will be allowed to come and pay their respects to the late reverend while he lies in rest in the Capitol.

Speaker Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell will also take part in a special memorial service for Graham.

Yesterday afternoon my father’s body was brought from the funeral home to the Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove…

Posted by Franklin Graham on Friday, February 23, 2018

The funeral service on March 2 is private and will include family members, friends, and community leaders who were touched by Graham’s ministry. Approximately 2,300 people will be invited to attend the 90-minute service.

Graham personally approved the planning and details of his funeral arrangements years before his death and made sure the focus will not be on him, but on the gospel. His son, Franklin Graham will give the funeral message, while his brother and three sisters will speak briefly to honor their father.

Graham’s preaching ministry first gained national prominence in 1949 when he held a crusade in downtown Los Angeles under a large white tent, also known as a “canvas cathedral.”  CBN

MS-13 Spreads To 22 States

Savage gangs now in 22 states thanks to DACA and floods of illegals.

“The proliferation of sanctuaries may complicate disruption of MS-13,” said the report. “Many of the hotbeds of MS-13 activity are also places where local officials have adopted sanctuary policies. “

The vicious MS-13 gang, stifled under former President George W. Bush, exploded during the Obama era fueled by 300,000 illegals, including those given amnesty under the DACA program, and has now been linked to crimes in 22 states, according to a new report.

Since 2012, 207 murders have been tied to the gang called “Mara Salvatrucha,” and there are over 500 cases nationwide of MS-13 members being charged in major crimes, according to the report from the Center for Immigration Studies.

But it can sometimes be hard to deport the illegals involved because about half of the crimes detailed in the report occurred in so-called “sanctuary cities” that do not cooperate with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Daca Recipient

One MS-13 clique leader in Frederick, Md., who had received a DACA work permit and was employed as a custodian at a middle school in Frederick, Md., and who was recently incarcerated for various gang-related crimes, reportedly was told by gang leaders in El Salvador to take advantage of the lenient policies on UACs to bring in new recruits, knowing that they would be allowed to resettle in the area with few questions asked. Several of these unaccompanied minors now have been arrested and incarcerated for various crimes, including a vicious random attack on a sheriff’s deputy in 2015. WashingtonExaminer

Rev. Billy Graham Dies At 99

“Well done, good and faithful servant! ”
-Matthew 25:23

Video: Billy Graham’s revelatory 2010 Fox News interview

Evangelist Billy Graham has died in his home in North Carolina at 99.

Graham took Christ literally when He said in Mark 16:15, “Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”

Graham has preached the gospel to more people in live audiences than anyone else in history—nearly 215 million people in more than 185 countries and territories—through various meetings, including Mission World and Global Mission. Hundreds of millions more have been reached through television, video, film and webcasts.

Since the 1949 Los Angeles Crusade vaulted Graham into the public eye, he has led hundreds of thousands of individuals to make personal decisions to live for Christ, which was the main thrust of his ministry. Charisma

In the Q&A section of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association’s website are 5 common questions about heaven.

The first question: “What happens to us in the first minute after we die? Do we enter heaven immediately, or do our souls go into some kind of a sleep until the end of time, when our souls and our bodies will be reunited? I’ve always had lots of questions about heaven.”

The Bible doesn’t answer all our questions about heaven and life after death—and the reason is because our minds are limited and heaven is far too glorious for us to understand. Some day, all of our questions will be answered—but not yet. As the Apostle Paul wrote, “Now I know in part; then I shall know fully” (1 Corinthians 13:12).

However, the Bible certainly does indicate that when we die we enter immediately into God’s presence if we belong to Christ. From our earthly point of view, death looks somewhat like sleep—but not from God’s point of view. Paul declared, “We are confident (of eternal life), I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord” (2 Corinthians 5:8). Elsewhere he wrote, “I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far” (Philippians 1:23).  first question full answer

America Should Get Behind Saudi Arabia’s Revolutionary Crown Prince

MBS [Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman] is a Saudi revolutionary, and the success of his policies will be felt not just in Saudi Arabia. So would their failure.

I have just returned from my second trip to Saudi Arabia since Mohammed bin Salman, the 32-year-old crown prince, became the driving force for change in the kingdom. His efforts to transform Saudi society amount to a revolution from above. Many seem to equate him with the shah of Iran, who thought he could Westernize his country without modernizing its social, religious roots and was ultimately swept away in the revolution that produced the Islamic Republic of Iran. I see him as more like Mustafa Kemal Ataturk — a leader who revolutionized Turkey by taking away the power of the religious base and secularizing the country.

To be sure, “MBS,” as he is known, is not trying to secularize Saudi Arabia. In his words, he is trying to “restore” Islam to its true nature and turn it away from those who sought to spread an intolerant, austere faith that created a justification for violence against all non-believers. Part of his challenge is that the Wahhabi interpretation of Islam — which guided the clerical establishment in the kingdom from its emergence in the late 1920s — promoted that very “us vs. them” belief system. The clerics were allowed by the royal family to run the educational system, enforce strict social mores within the kingdom and, especially after the revolution in Iran in 1979, finance madrassas internationally to spread its toxic worldview. Perhaps, that is why there is a cottage industry of skeptics of MbS’s mission and prospects for success.

Ironically, the skeptics are primarily outside Saudi Arabia and not in it…

The drive for change in Saudi Arabia is more credible because it is homegrown, not a response to outside pressure. It is being driven by an understanding that Saudi Arabia cannot sustain governance based on the lowest common denominator among all the factions of the royal family, the approval of the Wahhabi clerics, an economy dependent almost exclusively on oil for revenue, and 80% of Saudi households dependent on the government.

Interesting comment on Dennis Ross’s article by ali al qarni:

Dennis Ross’ piece did some justice to Saudi Arabia and its leadership and their genuine efforts to reform and modernize the country. Mr. Ross sees HRH the Crown Prince as Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, but we (Saudis) see him as more like his grandfather, King Abdulaziz, the founder of the most successful unification experience in modern times; the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Crown Prince is a young leader who is fully aware of the social, economic, political and technological changes around the world, and he knows what needs to be done to bring his country to the forefront of the developed world. He also knows that two-thirds of the population of his country is below the age of 30, and he further knows that this is an asset and a challenge at the same time. His vision for the country carries all the answers to a better prosperous future for the country. The young leader is working day and night focusing on the real job, which needs time and patience. It is in the interest of the US to support his efforts and make sure regional evil forces do not slow those efforts. And yes, Dennis Ross is correct when he ended by saying “MBS is a Saudi revolutionary, and the success of his policies will be felt” around the world. WaPo

Institutionalizing Transgender Ideology Powered By Over $400 Million

It’s about the money.

The transgender ideology is being funded by wealthy donors and investors in the drug, surgery, and healthcare industries, says Jenifer Bilek, a New York-based feminist.

Lifetime medical patients.

The massive medical and technological infrastructure expansion for a tiny (but growing) fraction of the population with gender dysphoria, along with the money being funneled to this project by those heavily invested in the medical and technology industries, seems to make sense only in the context of expanding markets for changing the human body.

I found exceedingly rich, white men with enormous cultural influence are funding the transgender lobby and various transgender organizations. These include but are not limited to Jennifer Pritzker (a male who identifies as transgender); George Soros; Martine Rothblatt (a male who identifies as transgender and transhumanist); Tim Gill(a gay man); Drummond Pike; Warren and Peter Buffett; Jon Stryker (a gay man); Mark Bonham (a gay man); and Ric Weiland (a deceased gay man whose philanthropy is still LGBT-oriented). Most of these billionaires fund the transgender lobby and organizations through their own organizations, including corporations…

These men and others, including pharmaceutical companies and the U.S. government, are sending millions of dollars to LGBT causes. Overall reported global spending on LGBT is now estimated at $424 million. From 2003-2013, reported funding for transgender issues increased more than eightfold, growing at threefold the increase of LGBTQ funding overall, which quadrupled from 2003 to 2012. This huge spike in funding happened at the same time transgenderism began gaining traction in American culture …

Much more important than funds going directly to the LGBT lobby and organizations, only a fraction of which trickles down to assist people who identify as transgender, is the money invested by the men mentioned above, governments, and technology and pharmaceutical corporations to institutionalize and normalize transgenderism as a lifestyle choice. They are shaping the narrative about transgenderism and normalizing it within the culture using their funding methods …

Bodily diversity [promotion] appears to be the core issue, not gender dysphoria[treatment]; that and unmooring people from their biology via language distortions, to normalize altering human biology. Institutionalizing transgender ideology does just this. This ideology is being promoted as a civil rights issue by wealthy, white, men with enormous influence who stand to personally benefit from their political activities.  TheFederalist

Mike Rowe’s Lends Prespective To The Florida Shooting

Very well said.

A woman named Susan Collins wrote the following to Mike Rowe:  “Dear Mike. Where have you been? Your words are needed…”

Rowe responded with a lose words:

Sorry I’ve been so scarce. I guess I could blame a chaotic production schedule, but the truth is, I’ve been absent because I don’t know what to say in the wake of Florida.

Like most of you, I’m overwhelmed with pity for the victims and their families, but consumed with anger for the coward who chose to murder. Rage and sorrow are hard things to reconcile, and the more such things occur, the more apparent it becomes that there is nothing new to say. So forgive me Susan, if I repeat what I said after Vegas and San Bernardino.

He followed with a simple fact, evil is all around us.

We should also try to understand the factors and reach for solutions. The one reasonable is the shooter.

Evil is real. As long as humans have walked the earth, people have chosen to do evil things. This is what happened in Florida. A nineteen-year old man chose to do an evil thing. He planned it. He executed it. He succeeded.

Should we endeavor to know why? Absolutely.

Should we discuss the impact of video games, accessible firearms, single-parents, no parents, powerful medications, social media, mental illness, bullying, or anything else we think might have encouraged him to choose evil over good? Without question.

But we should also stop confusing the influence of such things, with the root cause. Because nothing in this man’s past can possibly explain his decision to kill seventeen people. If you believe otherwise, ask yourself why millions of other people with a similar past, don’t make similar choices.

The past does not equal the future.

Life circumstance and choices.

This is the most comforting thing I can tell you, Susan. It’s also the most disconcerting. Because the facts are undeniable. People from horrible backgrounds often become the epitome of kindness. And people with every imaginable advantage, often go on to squander everything.

The past does not equal the future.

Rowe ends with sympathies for the victims and their families, and praise for the heroes of Parkland

To the families of the victims I can only offer my sincerest condolences, along with my heartfelt wish that the man who killed their loved ones is removed from the planet with all due speed.

As for words, I can only repeat what others have said, and ask you to remember those who confronted evil with courage. People like Aaron Feis, the football coach who threw himself in front of the kids the killer was trying to murder.

Beyond that, I’m afraid I can offer nothing but my weekly attempt to prove that goodness also walks among us, just as surely as evil. In numbers far greater than our newsfeeds would lead us to believe.  Facebook

Saudi Arabia Nuclear Program

Saudi Foreign Minister Al-Jubeir said that the world’s largest oil exporter was exploring the use of nuclear energy as part of its transition away from an oil-based energy system.

Saudi Arabia plans to construct 16 nuclear power reactors over the next 20 to 25 years at a cost of more than $80 billion. It has invited U.S. firms to take part in the program but acceptance from Washington requires a country to sign a peaceful nuclear cooperation pact. Known as a 123 agreement, it separates civil and military nuclear facilities and aims to block the steps from nuclear fuel production to potential bomb-making applications. Countries like India have already signed up to such agreements with the U.S.

Riyadh has previously stated it wants to tap its own uranium resources for “self-sufficiency in producing nuclear fuel,” according to Reuters, and is not interested in diverting nuclear technology to military use. Its regional rival Iran is already one step ahead and is allowed to enrich uranium.

Speaking to CNBC at the Munich Security Conference, Adel Al-Jubeir told CNBC that Saudi Arabia was looking at a number of countries that have nuclear technology for peaceful purposes.

“We are looking at the issue of the viability of building nuclear reactors in order to produce energy so that we can save the oil and export it in order to generate revenue,” the foreign minister said.

“The countries that we are talking to are probably roughly 10 countries or so around the world and we have not made a decision yet with regards to which path we will take and which country we will be focusing on more.”CNBC

Nuclear weapons?

The crown prince is determined to alter the status quo by moving towards a westernized model of greater individual freedom and economic diversification. As he undertakes these reforms, bin Salman seems to believe his regime’s security requires an independent nuclear program. And while the Saudis are unlikely to weaponize their nuclear program unless and until they view Iran as committed to that same course, the kingdom has an ace card up its sleeve: Pakistan.

Having supported Pakistan with tens of billions of dollars over the decades, the Saudis are convinced that the Pakistani government would, on request, transfer nuclear weapons technology to Riyadh. That gives bin Salman confidence that he has time on his side to first develop a purely peaceful nuclear program.  WashingtonExaminer

Open Doors Has Rebuilt Nearly 700 Homes In A Christian Community That Was Destroyed By ISIS

Christian charity Open Doors, that offers support to persecuted Christians, is helping restore almost 700 homes  destroyed by ISIS in Iraq in the Nineveh Plains.

After the region was liberated from ISIS, many Christians are returning to find their homes and communities destroyed.  Open Doors USA has partnered with ministries in Iraq to help restore and bring hope to these displaced Christians.

Open Doors:  “After three years of Islamic State occupation and devastation in the wake of the ISIS war, our local partners are sharing stories of continued hope for the Nineveh Plains and the believers who were forced to flee when militants issued their ultimatum: “Convert, leave or die.” For more than two years, occupying Islamic jihadists tried to erase any evidence of Christianity from the city–burning churches, destroying crosses, toppling bell towers.”

Many Christian groups and organizations are helping Christians restore and rebuild as they return to Iraq.

Father George Jahola, a Syriac Catholic priest, manages and organizes the reconstruction of the houses in Qaraqosh with money from the church. Silvestri said various Catholic organizations, such as Aid to the Church in Need, are involved in the rebuilding process, but that more funds must be raised. The Iraqi government has so far provided no resources.

Qaraqosh, about nine miles from the edge of Mosul, was once a thriving Christian commercial town of 50,000 people. The Islamic State damaged the famed bell tower of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and decapitated its many statues. CatholicPhilly

Along with bigger organizations like Knights of Columbus and Aid to the Church in Need, smaller organizations, such as Taimoorazy’s Iraqi Christian Relief Council, have carried out fundraising efforts to not only provide humanitarian assistance to those displaced but to also help restore Iraqi Christian villages. Five Dead In Church Shooting In Southern Russia, Attacker Who Shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’ Killed

Women walking out of church killed.  Motive unknown.

“An eyewitness to the shooting, Oksana, told RT it happened right in front of a Christian church. The gunman targeted people as they were leaving, but luckily many of the churchgoers managed to take cover inside the building, giving more time for the security guards to respond to the attack.

“There were a lot of people there, moms with little children, elderly people. I believe God saved us, not allowing the man to get inside the church,” the woman said. She added the gunman was killed as he was attempting to flee the scene.”  RT

Five women have been killed after a gunman opened fire on people leaving a church service in Russia’s Dagestan region.

Russian news agency Tass reported that the gunman died after killing four worshippers and wounding four others in an attack in the town on Kizlyar.

Another of the victims – all of whom were female – died of her injuries in hospital, according to a spokesperson for the regional ministry of internal affairs.

He was reportedly armed with a hunting rifle, and charged towards the church shouting “Allahu Akbar”, the Arabic phrase meaning “God is Great”, according to Father Pavel, an Orthodoc Priest who had delivered the service.

Tass quoted Kizlyar’s mayor, Alexander Shuvalov, on the number of people killed and injured in the attack.

“Four people were killed. The shooter was shot dead. Two police officers and a woman were wounded,” said Mayor Shuvalov.

The gunman targeted worshippers at a Russian Orthodox church in the mainly Muslim region, although no motive has been established yet.  SKY

George Soros – Brexit And Hungary

In a Daily Mail article George Soros whines about ‘toxic, personal criticism’ as he defends “his right to donate hundreds of thousands of pounds to a pro-European Union campaign aimed at stopping the U.K. leaving the political and economic bloc.”  He ” dismissed accusations that his actions were “undermining democracy,” reported NBC News.

Soros goes on about democracy but wants to ignore the vote in Britain.

He argued [Lord Lamont] that international donors such as billionaire financier Mr Soros should ‘keep away’ while the deal that will implement Britain’s Brexit decision is worked out.

Lord Lamont also criticised Tory MPs for supporting a pro-EU parliamentary group funded by the Best for Britain group, which wants to stop Brexit.

The All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on EU Relations is co-chaired by Remain backer Anna Soubry and its aims have been supported by other MPs.

The APPG has been supported to the tune of up to £21,000 by Best for Britain, a group which is seeking a second referendum or a general election. The group admits its campaign for a new referendum could cause Theresa May’s government to fall.

Best of Britain has, in turn, been pledged almost £400,000 from Mr Soros, the international financier known as ‘the man who broke the Bank of England’ for his actions in 1992 when the UK crashed out of the European Exchange Rate Mechanism. Lord Lamont said: ‘Conservative Remainers say they don’t want to overturn the referendum result, but they seem to be financed by people who do.’

Mr Soros has pledged a total of more than £700,000 to groups working to water down or block Brexit.  DailyMail

Soros thinks he knows best.

Author and sociologist Frank Furedi claims globalist activists working for billionaire financier George Soros bragged about toppling governments at a private lunch.

A former professor of sociology at the University of Kent in Canterbury, Furedi recounted his experience with the globalist’s “missionaries” in an article for the Telegraph newspaper, having been prompted by the revelations about his efforts to bring down the British government and trigger another EU referendum.

“Soros believes that if the people voted the wrong way, he is entitled to thwart decisions made by them,” Furedi wrote.

“Soros does not believe in the legitimacy of borders nor in the authority of national electorates. Consequently, he feels entitled to influence and if possible direct the political destiny of societies all over the world.”..

“It was later during lunch at a plush Budapest hotel that I encountered the full force of the arrogant ethos promoted by the Soros network of organisations. At my table I listened to Dutch, American, British, Ukrainian and Hungarian representatives of Soros NGOs boast about their achievements. Some claimed that they played a major role in the Arab Spring in Egypt. Others voiced their pride in their contribution to the democratisation of the Ukraine. Some bragged about their influence in preparing the ground for the overthrow of the Gadafif regime in Libya.” BreitBart

Hungary

Hungary’s nationalist government introduced legislation that would empower the interior minister to ban non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that support migration and pose a “national security risk”

The bill, submitted to parliament late on Tuesday, is a key part of Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s anti-immigration campaign targeting U.S. financier George Soros whose philanthropy aims to bolster liberal and open-border values in eastern Europe.

Hungary and Poland are both under nationalist governments that have clashed with the European Union leadership in Brussels over their perceived authoritarian drift deviating from EU standards on democracy and rule of law.

But Orban’s message, championing conservative Christian beliefs and rejecting multiculturalism, has gone down well with Hungarian voters and his Fidesz party is expected to secure a third straight term in a general election due on April 8. Budapest Reuters

University in Canada – Whites Need Not Apply For University Job

Racism.  Discrimination.

Is official discrimination the only way to diversity, hiring based on racial preference and not qualifications?

Whites need not apply for the position of vice-provost student affairs at Halifax’s Dalhousie University.

The university is seeking only “racially visible persons and Aboriginal Peoples” for the job, the National Post reports.

In a memo to Dalhousie students and staff, Provost Carolyn Watters said the plan is to hire someone who fulfills the university’s affirmative action program.

“We have embarked on the process of selecting a new vice-provost student affairs,” Watters wrote, explaining that the job search “will be restricted to racially visible persons and Aboriginal Peoples at this time.”  DailyCaller

‘Top Priority’ — Sessions Orders ‘Immediate Review’ Of FBI

The FBI had two tips on the potential danger posed by Nikolas Cruz, nothing was done by the FBI.  Broward County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the gunman’s home 39 Times since 2010.  Absolute failure!  Unconscionable.  Absolute disgrace!

The FBI revealed Friday it got a tip last month that Nikolas Cruz, the 19-year-old accused of killing 17 people on Valentine’s Day, had a gun, wanted to “kill people” and there was the “potential of him conducting a school shooting.”

The agency in a statement admitted receiving a call on Jan. 5, 2018 from a person close to Cruz who contacted the FBI through its Public Access Line tipline to express concerns about Cruz’s erratic behavior and disturbing social media posts.

Who is Nikolas Cruz? He is accused of murdering 17 people at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. Cruz is in custody as authorities comb through his background for clues into why he went on the horrific shooting spree.Video

AG Sessions

Attorney General Jeff Sessions ordered Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to “conduct an immediate review” of both the Justice Department and FBI Friday.

Sessions referenced the new revelations into the FBI’s mishandling of tips on suspected Stoneman Douglass High School shooter Nikolas Cruz, which he called “tragic.”

“It is now clear that the warning signs were there and tips to the FBI were missed,” Sessions wrote in a statement. “We see the tragic consequences of those failures.”

Florida Gov. Rick Scott also reportedly mobilized against the FBI Friday, and issued a press release calling for FBI Director Christopher Wray’s resignation.
