Swiss police have yesterday arrested a 27-year-old Nigerian asylum seeker who is suspected of stabbing a young woman to death in the German town of Ahaus. Following the brutal murder this weekend, the refugee had fled to Switzerland.
The fatal knife attack took place on Sunday night when the 22-year-old victim, named as Soopika P., was stabbed several times in the head, chest, and neck. Shortly after, she died in the hospital.
After the killing, the Germans put out a Europe-wide arrest warrant, leading to the capture of the Nigerian national in the city of Basel. “Today’s arrest of the suspect in Switzerland is a quick success,” the German Justice Ministry commented. Germany has asked Switzerland to extradite the 27-year-old, who will be interrogated following his return.
According to Bild, Soopika P. comes from an Indian background, although earlier reports mention her family originating in Sri Lanka. The woman was voluntarily working with asylum seekers in a center in her hometown of Ahaus where she may have met the attacker. The prosecutor confirmed that the Nigerian “had been trying to contact the woman” in the weeks preceding the stabbing. Gatestone
Have the French considered – stop taking in migrants and deport many of those in their country?
Paris authorities placed huge boulders under a bridge where asylum-seekers set up a makeshift camp, local activists say, claiming some migrants who are waiting to be resettled have nowhere else to go and have not slept for days. The makeshift migrant camp was reportedly set up in the Porte de la Chapelle area in the north of the French capital. The camp is in front of La Chapelle refugee center, which still is coping with the mass influx of refugees and apparently cannot admit everyone.
The makeshift migrant camp was reportedly set up in the Porte de la Chapelle area in the north of the French capital. The camp is in front of La Chapelle refugee center, which still is coping with the mass influx of refugees and apparently cannot admit everyone…
L’Express newspaper received a comment from the mayor’s office, which confirmed that it was its decision to place the stones “to avoid street camping.”
A volunteer from Solidarité migrants Wilson told the paper that she talked to migrants who lived under the bridge in La Chapelle.
“They are exhausted, they [are] cold, some have not slept since Friday, we are extremely indignant,” she said, adding that another makeshift center was set up in the area on Sunday. Others took refuge in the Porte de la Chapelle metro station, she added.
The number of refugees arriving in France, however, appears to be much more than the centers are able to host. According to Asylum Information Database, which collects data on the influx of migrants, over 85,000 people applied for asylum in France in 2016.
Many asylum-seekers from the Middle East, Africa, and Afghanistan travel to France in hopes of crossing the English Channel to the UK, often having had their applications rejected elsewhere, or in expectation of better prospects in Britain than in the rest of the EU. RT
Eagles seem to be the most effective way to intercept drones in cities.
The drones being targeted are small, weighing less than 2kg, and are readily available on the commercial market. Nevertheless, their use in sensitive zones – including during demonstrations and around airports – has led to accidents that prompted France and other countries to introduce restrictions on unmanned aerial vehicles, or UAVs.
The French army is using birds of prey to take down drones to protect its air bases as well as to secure public airspace in case a drone poses a threat.
Eagles were first used by the Dutch police force to intercept drones used by criminals and terrorists. Inspired by this success, the French military began training eagles for military programmes.
The pilot programme started last spring at Mont de Marsan air base in southwestern France with a team of four raptors – three females and one male. They are taught from a very young age until they become fully-trained at around 8 months, when they reach full maturity. The eagles used in France are bred using artificial insemination since eagles are a protected species and harvesting wild eggs is strictly forbidden.
Part of the training involves familiarising the eagles with the sight of drones. Even before they hatch, the eagles are surrounded by drones so they become part of their natural environment. Eventually they are taught to associate drones with being fed.
“A drone means food for these birds,” Gerald Machoukow, the military base’s falconer, told FRANCE 24’s Fanny Allard. “Now they automatically go after them.” France24

One of the best speeches by a European political leader.
Mr. Orbán talks frankly and lucidly about the major crises that are currently bedeviling Europe, including the “refugee” crisis and the heavy-handed behavior of the European Union towards the nations of Europe — which it considers its vassal states. The prime minister focuses on the primary overarching issue, which is the attempt by trans-national organizations to impose global governance on nation states. He describes the current “populist revolt” that has arisen to resist the globalists, with Brexit and the election of Donald Trump being the most recent major examples. Gates of Vienna
Respected [former] President Pál Schmitt and his dear wife, Dear Mrs. Dalma, [former] Prime Minister Peter Boros, everyone who invited me, ladies and gentlemen. It is good to see you all again, it is the 19th time — that is way too much, even from dumplings —
I would like to evoke the words of István Szabó, our greatly respected bishop, in his little story, where two little boys are listening to the mass… “This is boring,” says the smaller one, then the older boy answers: “Well, this is how supposed to be.” …
Well, dear audience, today we do not have to be afraid of that. The year 2016 was not boring, not the least bit. And the year 2017 looks rather interesting too. We had — and we will have — excitement, surprise, scratching of heads, wiping of foreheads and rubbing of eyes.
We will ask of each other: it is really possible, what unfolds before our eyes, and takes shape? Who would have thought — just a couple of years ago — that history would defy the prophecies, and laughingly show the fig sign to the prophets of liberal politics, and would likely show an “up yours!” to the beneficiaries and protectors of the international order: the globalists and liberals, to influential people, living in their ivory tower palaces and sitting in their television studios. To the army of media locusts and their masters. To everybody who believed, taught and spread, who enjoyed its gains and absorbed its revenues, that the global liberal world order is unalterable.
If the dissatisfied ones do not keep their mouths shut, or if the media fail to inhibit their voice, then they will be denounced, stigmatized and disinherited. And in this, there is no mercy, even for the new American President. No wonder then, that the high pressure became permanent in the European Union. The valves sooner or later will seize up and stop working, and the people, lacking any other options, will revolt.
That is, they are kicking it out with their votes,
tossing out the liberal elite. This is how the world works now, respected ladies and gentlemen, respected [former] President, in the wintertime of 2017.
They hide behind empty slogans like the one recently resurrected from the 1970s by Hillary Clinton: “The future is feminine” while shutting their gold—ringed ears to the cries of all women eking lives under oppressive Muslim regimes. CanadaFreePress
UN Watch, a non-governmental human rights NGO in Geneva, expressed disappointment that Sweden’s self-declared “first feminist government in the world”sacrificed its principles and betrayed the rights of Iranian women as Trade Minister Ann Linde and other female members walked before Iranian President Rouhani on Saturday wearing Hijabs, Chadors, and long coats, in deference to Iran’s oppressive and unjust modesty laws which make the Hijab compulsory — despite Stockholm’s promise to promote “a gender equality perspective” internationally, and to adopt a “feminist foreign policy” in which “equality between women and men is a fundamental aim.”
In doing so, Sweden’s female leaders ignored the recent appeal by Iranian women’s right activist Masih Alinejad who urgedEuropeans female politicians “to stand for their own dignity” and to refuse to kowtow to the compulsory Hijab while visiting Iran. UN Watch
Hungary will welcome those fleeing from Germany, France… who want “to find the Europe they have lost” at home. This will boost Hungary’s economy.
Hungarian prime minister Viktor Orban says his country will open its arms to west Europeans fleeing mass immigration and “the lords of globalist politics”.
“We shall let in true refugees”, Mr Orban told a cheering audience: “Germans, Dutch, French and Italians, terrified politicians and journalists who here in Hungary want to find the Europe they have lost in their homelands.”
The populist leader has served as the de facto leader of the central and eastern European countries which have resisted the open borders policies of the European Union (EU) and leading member-states in the west of the continent.
Globalist politicians, Mr Orban contended, are seeking to “sweep away a democracy of debate and replace it with a democracy of [political] correctness”, where “true power, decisions and influence [are] not held by elected governments, but [by] unelected global networks, media gurus and international organisations.”
He cited Britain’s vote to leave the European Union and Donald Trump’s election in the United States as episodes in a wider popular revolt against the “arrogance and condescension” of global elites by ordinary people whose “mouths had been gagged” for too long. Breitbart
The Swedish Policeman Peter Springare continues to post on Facebook the realities of his work as a criminal investigator in Orebro, Sweden.
Part of his post:
Unfortunately, I have not been able to work so much this week because of the “storm” that flows from different directions, as a result of my post last Friday. But I come here to report some facts, about a couple of the categories we examined here at the Serious Crime Unit in Örebro during the period 1 January 2015 to 31 December 2016.
The first is the category of murder/attempted murder, which is one of the most serious crimes in our penal code. It is often very complex to investigate and require very significant resources and time [manpower], which obviously affects the results of the investigation in the case, for example, on the variety of crimes.
Murder/attempted murder 1 Jan 2015-Dec 30, 2016;
– 12 investigated cases. 24 suspected perpetrators
– In 10 of the cases the perpetrators was of foreign origin.
– In 2 of these cases the perpetrators was of Swedish descent.
– Out of a total of 24 involved perpetrators 22 was of foreign origin and 2 of Swedish descent.
The vanishingly small proportion of all immigrants that are criminals, thus are greatly over-represented here when it comes to very serious violent crimes. And now, if this would be fairly equal in the country at large, we in Örebro got a very, very big problem.
Extortion; the same conditions in the time period.
– 18 investigated cases. 25 suspected perpetrators.
– In 13 of the cases the perpetrators were of foreign origin.
– In 4 cases the perpetrators where of Swedish descent.
– In 1 case, the perpetrator was unknown.
– Out of a total of 25 offenders 19 was of foreign origin and 5 was of Swedish descent and 1 unknown.
I will come back next week or earlier, with some reports from my end.
I would like to end with this;
Ahmed’s father did not want to see his children get killed in a torn, violent, war-torn country. He staked everything he had and fled to Sweden. He wanted to give his children a safer life and a better future.
Today, Ahmed was assassinated. Brutally shot down in the street in Sweden.[*We guarantee that Ahmed was assassinated by another Ahmed, although Peter Springare may not have details of this yet. TMI]
Majority of the victims of these violent crimes that I and other serious crime investigators in the country investigate are just immigrants or children of immigrants. Therefore, it is not so strange that I got so much support by precisely immigrants, because they understand what it is I put my finger on. MTheMuslimIssue
Chatham House under took a massive poll of 10,000 respondents in 10 separate countries. The poll shows that majorities everywhere favor a halt to Muslim immigration. A huge European 10-country poll shows a major shift in public sentiment on immigration from Muslim countries. A continent-wide opposition to further Muslim immigration – an average of 55 % stop immigration, 25% don’t know, just 20% of Europeans support further Muslim immigration.
A majority of Europeans want a ban on immigration from Muslim-majority countries, a poll has revealed.
An average of 55 per cent of people across the 10 European countries surveyed wanted to stop all future immigration from mainly Muslim countries…
…Only 20 per cent disagreed, while 25 percent said they did not know.
A ban was supported by 71 percent of people in Poland, 65 percent in Austria, 53 percent in Germany and 51 percent in Italy. In the UK, 47 percent supported a ban. In no country did more than 32 per cent disagree with a ban. Independent
Support is also fractured by where you live. Of those living in rural, less populated areas, 58% are opposed to further Muslim immigration. Whereas among those based in cities and metropolitan areas just over half agree with the statement and around a quarter are less supportive of a ban. Opposition is also more prominent among ‘left behind’ voters, with nearly two-thirds of those who feel they don’t have control over their own lives supporting the statement. Similarly, 65% of those Europeans who are dissatisfied with their life oppose further migration from Muslim countries. There is also some evidence that public opposition crosses political boundaries, with three-quarters of those who self-classify themselves as on the right of the political spectrum and more than a third of those on the left supporting a halt. Europe in 2017 has several key elections.
There are presidential and parliamentary elections in France and Germany, general elections in the Netherlands, Norway and the Czech Republic, presidential elections in Hungary and Slovenia and local elections in Portugal. Britain is still in the turmoil of its Brexit decision and there are local elections in the United Kingdom that could be dominated by the referendum’s aftermath. Forbes
90 per cent assaults on places of worship target Christians.
While racist, anti-Muslim, and anti-Semitic attacks have seen a huge fall since 2008, those on Christian places of worship more than doubled in this period of time, France’s interior ministry reported last week.
Having documented a record number of anti-Semitic and anti-Muslim attacks in 2015, the French government spent €100 million on a huge anti-populist campaign to reduce Islamophobia, racism, and anti-Semitism.
Subsequently, racist, anti-Semitic, and anti-Muslim attacks fell sharply in 2016 with the former seeing a decline of 58.5 per cent and the latter a drop of 57.6 per cent. These attacks are defined as being fires, violence, degradation, and threats — comments, inscriptions, insulting letters.
In this year, attacks on Christian places of worship have increased by 17.4 per cent in 2016 compared to 2015. Racist attacks, meanwhile, dropped by 23.7 per cent (608 versus 797).
Attacks On Christian Places Have Increased
Le Figaro reported that acts which target Christians now account for 90 per cent assaults on places of worship.
The newspaper points out that, while it is to be expected that attacks on churches are the most plentiful because they exist in the largest number, cases in which Christian places of worship were defiled saw a huge rise between 2008 and 2016.
The government says the majority of the 949 attacks on churches have “no religious motive”, but that there was a possible “satanic motivation” in 14 cases and an “anarchist” motivation in 25. However, since 2008 assaults on Christian places of worship have risen by 245 per cent.
Last year in Dülmen, following the arrival of well over a million migrants in Germany, local media said “not a day goes by” without attacks on Christian religious statues. Breitbart
