France announced it would welcome Iraqi Christians forced to flee their homes when ISIS hordes invaded Mosul, Iraq.

French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius and Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said in a joint statement on Monday that they are taking steps to ease the suffering of Christians now fleeing northern Iraq en masse.

“We will aid those who have been displaced following the threats from the Islamic State [formerly known as Islamic State of Iraq and Greater Syria, or ISIS] and who have taken refuge in [the autonomous Iraqi region of] Kurdistan,” the ministers said in reference to the thousands of Christians who have fled Mosul, Iraq’s second biggest city, in recent days.

“We are ready, if they so desire, to help facilitate asylum in our territory,” the statement added, although it did not provide any details about the kind of aid France would provide in northern Iraq or the number of asylum seekers the country would accept…

The announcement by French ministers followed a rally in support of Iraq’s persecuted Christians that gathered around five thousand people outside Notre Dame de Paris Cathedral in the French capital on Sunday.

Meriam Ibrahim In Rome

Roma, Arrivo dal Sudan di Meriam Yehya Ibraim a CiampinoMeriam Ibrahim who was convicted and sentenced to death in Sudan flew into Rome on an Italian goverment plane Thursay and met the Pope.

Mariam Yahya Ibrahim, whose sentence and detention triggered international outrage, walked off the aircraft cradling her baby and was greeted by Italian prime minister Matteo Renzi.

Soon afterwards, Ibrahim, her husband and two children had a private meeting with Pope Francis in the Vatican. “The Pope thanked her for her witness to faith,” Vatican spokesman Father Federico Lombardi said.

The meeting, which lasted around half an hour, was intended as a “sign of closeness and solidarity for all those who suffer for their faith,” he added.

There were no details on what led up to the 27-year-old’s departure after a month in limbo in Khartoum, but a senior Sudanese official said it had been cleared by the government.

“The authorities did not prevent her departure that was known and approved in advance,” the senior official told Reuters, speaking on condition of anonymity.

Ibrahim was accompanied on the plane by Italy’s vice minister for foreign affairs, Lapo Pistelli. He told journalists at Ciampino airport that Italy had been in “constant dialogue” with Sudan but did not give any more details on Rome’s role in securing her exit.

Kurdish Man Beaten In Sweden For Flying Israeli Flag

Israel flag photoA Kurdish man in Sweden was beaten and seriously injured by a gang of local Muslims for displaying an Israeli flag in his apartment window.  He has displayed an Israeli flag and a Kurdish flag in his window for two years.  Twice this week rocks were thrown through his window.  The second time he went down to the street and was confronted by 10 Muslims youths wielding iron rods and glass bottles; he was severely beaten.

A fellow Kurd living in Sweden reached out to Israel Today, stressing that like Babak, he, too, views Israelis as “my brothers. I regard them as important as my own people.”

Identifying himself as Hajir, this brave young man said it is important for Israelis to know that “we support them. Today, I am going to hang an Israeli flag in my window. I am risking my life in doing so, but it is for a greater cause.”

There is growing speculation that the current unrest across the Middle East could result in the Kurds of northern Syria and Iraq finally establishing a sovereign state of their own. That prospect is very appealing to Israel, as most Kurds, like these two men in Sweden, are friendly toward Israel, and a Kurdish state would certainly be an ally.

Female genital mutilation (FGM) exposed in Sweden

silhouette-shadow-young-girl60 cases of female genital mutilation (FGM) among schoolgirls have been found by school health services in the small Swedish city of Norrköping, with 30 of the girls all in one class.  Of the 30, 28 of girls had been subjected to the most severe form.

This horrible butchering allegedly happens when girls travel back to the country of their ancestors. This is found in Muslim cultures especially in Africa.  With immigration, this horrible procedure has been reported in Western countries and America.  This brutal procedure has no scientific health basis, in fact, it. is unhealthy.

U.K. To Legalize Three-Parent IVF Babies

baby family photoThree-Parent in virto fertilization (IVF) is two women and one man contributing DNA to the creation of a human fetus with a reduced risk of developing mitochondrial diseases.  The United Kingdom opened a three-month public consultation, which closed on the 22nd of May, on draft legislation that would legalize an IVF method that involves transferring  the nucleus of an egg from one woman who carries the disease to the egg of another woman with healthy mitochondria.

Human Genetics Alert, a UK campaign watchdog, is against the legalization of mitochondrial replacement.  A main concern is the deliberate changes it introduces to the germline of children born using this method. They also see it as opening the door to “enhanced designer babies.”  {the germline in humans is the line (sequence) of germ cells that have genetic material that may be passed to a child. Germ cells are specialized cells which are involved in reproduction, such as sperm and eggs.}

Study: Radical Muslims are well-integrated, are better educated than average, and are better economically and socially

Copenhagen photo
Copenhagen, Denmark

It has been thought that failed integration and poverty may be causes of “Homegrown Radical Islamists” in Western  countries. A study “Radical Islamism and Migrant Integration in Denmark: An Empirical Inquiry” does not support a link between  integration and radicalization of young Muslims, or poverty.

Associate professor and Islamism researcher Marco Goli from Metropolitan University College in Copenhagen concluded “that  radicalized young Muslims are often what one would consider well-integrated: They are better educated than average and also perform better economically and socially and will therefore largely be able to maintain a double life.”

The study stated:  “The sharpest and most consistent difference between the Radical Islamists and other Muslim immigrants concerned their adherence to religious duties and proscriptions. More than half of the most radical group deferred to Sharia over National law, and a third endorsed death as punishment for apostasy.”

“They become radicalized from their own perception of what happens around the world,” says Shahamak Rezaei, Associatev Professor at the Institute of Social and Globalisation Affairs at Roskilde University.”

The study was based on a nationally representative sample of 1,113 youth (ages 15–30) in Denmark with national ties to a”Muslim country.

Anti-Semitism heard at major Islamic conference in France

France photo
Paris, France

At the 31st Congress of the Union of Islamic Organizations in France (UOIF) Anti-Semitic speeches were given ‘places of honor’.  The 31st UOIF congress was advertised to discuss assimilation, culture, and immigration, but descended into an anti-Semitic rant.
Speaking at the 31st Congress of the Union of Islamic Organizations in France, Hani Ramadan a prominent Muslim leader from Geneva railed against Jewish and pro-Israeli groups in the United States.  Hani Ramaden also stated, “All the evil in the world originates from the Jews and the Zionist barbarism.”

All evil in the world, all the backwardness of Islam, all violence and barbarism is due to Jewish groups? A rational person would not believe that.

Hani Ramadan is a prominent Muslim leader and his father Said Ramadan was the son-in-law of Hassan al-Banna the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood. Hani’s brother Tariq Ramadan, for years was banned from entering the United States by the U.S. State Department for giving donations to charity organizations that funded terrorist organizations such as Hamas.
