Las Vegas Shooting Survivor Says He’s No Longer Agnostic – ‘I’m a Firm Believer in God Now’

Many reports of heroism and brave first responders have flooded the internet.

Las Vegas survivor Taylor Benge tells of heroic acts on Sunday, he also revealed that the experience turned him from being an agnostic to a full-fledged believer.

“I was agnostic going into that concert and I’m a firm believer in God now,” Benge told CNN on Monday morning. “Because there’s no way that all of that happened and that I made it and I was blessed enough to still be here alive talking to you today.”

Taylor has a brave protective sister.

“My sister and I, we started running to the left and every time they shot, we took cover,” Taylor Benge told CNN on Monday morning. “My sister, being as noble as she, she actually threw herself on top of me and was saying, ‘I love you Taylor, I love you.’ And I’ll never forget that.” Faithwire

Video: ‘Beating up fascists is good,’ college students say

“Beating up fascists is good.”

what is most troubling is that these anti-free speech beliefs and tactics are not simply embraced by a radical fringe. A recent Brookings Institute study found that a majority of students believe that disrupting speakers to silence them is “acceptable” and one in five students (19%) endorse the use of violence to silence an “offensive” speaker. A plurality of students believe that “hate speech” is not covered by the First Amendment, despite Supreme Court precedent establishing otherwise.  DailyWire

As acts of political violence in America increase in regularity, a new poll shows that many college students have no problem with it.

Of those surveyed, a startling 19 percent claimed to support the use of violence to silence speakers they find offensive, the same perspective held by the increasingly violent Antifa groups around the country.

Wanting to see what college students in Washington, D.C. thought of Antifa, Campus Reform took to the campus of American University to ask students their opinion of the violent leftist organization recently labeled a domestic terror organization by the Department of Homeland Security.

Immediately, the students made it clear that they had no problem with the controversial group. CampusReform

Video: Antifa Member Gets Nailed In The Groin By Phoenix Police Tear Gas Canister

Update:

The protester identified himself as 29-year-old Joshua Stuart Cobin from Scotsdale, AZ, who works at Go Daddy. DailyWire

The man seen in the 3TV/CBS 5 video getting hit with a non-lethal round after kicking a gas canister at officers was booked into jail Thursday night on four criminal charges, Phoenix police announced.

Joshua Stuart Cobin, 29, from Scottsdale, was booked on three felony counts of aggravated assault on police and one misdemeanor count of unlawful assembly.

Cobin identified himself as the man seen on a now-viral video kicking a can of tear gas back at police officers during Tuesday night’s protests of President Donald Trump. Seconds later, an officer hit Cobin with a non-lethal gas round in the pelvic area, dropping him to the ground.

Another man in a Colin Kaepernick jersey helped Cobin out of the line of fire.  Cobin defended his actions in an interview Wednesday.  AZFamily

Ouch!

The guy who comes to help the Antifa anarchist is wearing a Colin Kaepernick jersey.

Turns out it was a bean bag he was hit with.

Video, Planned Parenthood Medical Chief Tells How To Get Around Ban On Partial-Birth Abortion

These people need to be arrested and this business needs to be defunded!

Video: Planned Parenthood Medical Director: “Dismemberment” Abortion “Checkbox” Skirts Partial-Birth Law

A new undercover video shows a top physician at a Planned Parenthood affiliate discussing how her organization routinely circumvents federal law regulating certain late-term abortions.

In the latest hidden-camera video from the Center for Medical Progress, Dr. Suzie Prabhakaran, vice president of medical affairs for Planned Parenthood of Southwest and Central Florida, talks about using a “checkbox” to get around the 2003 law banning partial-birth abortion.

In the video, released Thursday as the Senate again debates defunding the nation’s largest abortion provider, Prabhakaran speaks with investigators from the pro-life group posing as buyers of fetal tissue from a biotech company.

Prabhakaran is seen explaining that to circumvent federal law against partial-birth abortions—in which the unborn baby is extracted partway and then killed—Planned Parenthood doctors document their intent either to perform a dismemberment abortion or to use a feticide such as digoxin, which kills the baby beforehand.  DailySignal

Video: Students Love Socialism… But Can’t Define What It Is

Last year, a poll was released showing 53 percent of Americans under age 35 are dissatisfied with our nation’s current economic system and think socialism would be good for the country.

“I guess just, you know, getting rid of that wealth gap in the United States?”

The same poll found that 45 percent of young Americans would be willing to support an openly socialist Presidential candidate…

While it’s clear that young people increasingly view socialism in a positive light, it’s also clear that many of them are uneducated about what it entails, or the impact it’s had throughout history.

The same poll found many millennials are unfamiliar with historical figures often associated with socialism, such as Che Guevara, Joseph Stalin, and Karl Marx. CampusReform

Most of the students Campus Reform talked to were big fans of socialism, yet most could not define it.

One student said of socialism, “I think people throw that word around to try and scare you, but if helping people is socialism, than I’m for it.”

When asked how she would define socialism, her answer was simple: “I mean honestly I’m not not exactly sure.”

“I guess just, you know, getting rid of that wealth gap in the United States?” ventured another.

One student supported it passionately, saying “It’s more of an open form of government and it feels a lot more accessible to a lot more people,” but when asked to explain what socialism actually entails, could only repeat now-common refrain: “To be quite honest I don’t know.”  CampusReform

No facts, no history, its Utopian feelings.

It’s easy to say that those running academia have “failed” to educate these students about socialism, but the truth is, this degree of uniform endorsement of a feelings-based, utopian vision of a system is exactly what so many leftwing academics actually want. This is not failure in their eyes; it’s success.  DailyWire

Video:  The London Bridge Massacre (David Wood)

On June 3, 2017, three jihadis drove a van into pedestrians walking across London Bridge. After fleeing the van, the jihadis proceeded to Borough Market, where they stabbed a number of people. As usual, British politician Theresa May is calling such violence “a perversion of Islam.” But does May’s plan for dealing with Islamic violence make sense? Let’s take a closer look.
