Massachusetts Motor Vehicle Employees Accused Of Made Fake IDs For Illegal Aliens, Fraudulently Registered Them To Vote In Boston

I remember assurances that voter fraud was a myth.

Four state Registry of Motor Vehicle clerks along with two other people were arrested Wednesday after authorities say they were making false identifications through the registry and selling them to people living in the country illegally, some of whom had been deported in the past.

Some of those phony licenses and identifications were used to fraudulently register to vote in Boston, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Evelyn Medina, 56, of Boston; Annette Gracia, 37, of Boston; Kimberly Jordan, 33, of Randolph; David Brimage, 46, of Boston; Bivian Yohanny Brea, 41, of Boston; and a 32-year-old man identified as John Doe were all charged in federal court with aggravated identity theft.

Officials are still trying to determine John Doe’s true identity and list multiple aliases for him.

Medina, Gracia, Jordan, and Brimage were employed as clerks at the Haymarket Registry of Motor Vehicles. Authorities said Brea and Flako worked with the RMV clerks to operate the scheme.

The case against the six people began after Massachusetts State Police received an anonymous letter in October 2015 claiming a “corrupt RMV employee” was providing stolen identifications and drivers’ license to people seeking the phony documents.

“An investigation revealed that several Haymarket RMV clerks – Medina, Gracia, Jordan, and Brimage – were allegedly working with Brea, who acted as the document vendor, and Flako, who acted as the document dealer, to provide licenses and identification cards to illegal aliens for cash,” the U.S. Attorney’s Office said.

Flako, according to authorities, worked as the document dealer. Flako allegedly sold a Puerto Rican birth certificate and U.S. Social Security card to Brea, the document vendor, for approximately $900.

Brea, in turn, sold the stolen identities for more than $2,000 to clients seeking legitimate identities in Massachusetts. These clients included people living in the country illegally, individuals who were previously deported, and an individual who admitted to previously facing drug charges.

Brea allegedly also used the fake documents to register people to vote in Boston. The four RMV workers are accused of accepted cash to illegally issue authentic RMV documents – licenses and identification cards.  MassLive

Immigrant Sentence Shortened To Avoid Deportation, Now Charged With Killing Two Boston Doctors

Bampumim Teixeira has been charged in the brutal murders of the engaged doctors in their Boston apartment.  Teixeira, born in Guinea-Bissau, was a former security guard at the apartment complex of Dr Richard Field and Dr Lina Bolanos.  He was released in April for burglarizing the same bank twice, his sentence was one day short of a legal deportation sentence.

An immigrant charged Monday with the grisly murder of two Boston doctors reportedly had years earlier burglarized the same bank on two separate occasions and received 364 in jail days as a result — a sentence just one day short of legally justifying his deportation.

Bampumim Teixeira’s ex-girlfriend told the Boston Globe that he was released from prison in April when the rest of his sentence was suspended after serving 9 months. She also says Teixeira, 30, was born in Guinea-Bissau and grew up in Cape Verde, a nearby island country off the west coast of Africa, before moving to Boston in his 20s.

The judge for the prior cases — believed to be Associate Justice Lisa Grant — sentenced Teixeira to 364 days following a pair of burglaries at the same bank in 2014 and 2016, according to the Boston Herald. Massachusetts state law mandates that burglary with a sentence of at least 1 year leads to deportation of an immigrant, or at least substantially increases chances of immigration status review. Jake Wark, the spokesman for Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, told The Daily Caller News Foundation that he is fairly certain that Judge Lisa Grant presided over Teixeira’s criminal case in 2016, but he did not specify which justice, an important distinction since there are two judges named Lisa Grant in the Boston municipal court system.

Judge Lisa Ann Grant released a 32 year-old Uber driver during arraignment who was charged with raping a passenger in October, allowing him to leave without posting bail, according to Boston CBS. The suspect, Michael Vedrine, reportedly admitted to having sexual intercourse with the woman, but claims his accuser was “extremely drunk” and consented to the act. DailyCaller
