Federal Agents Found Four Preserved Fetuses In Their Second Trimester During Detroit Raid Of Body Broker’s Warehouse

Horror!

Rathburn operated International Biological Inc.

Federal agents discovered four preserved fetuses in the Detroit warehouse of a man who sold human body parts, confidential photographs reviewed by Reuters show.

The fetuses were found during a December 2013 raid of businessman Arthur Rathburn´s warehouse. The fetuses, which appear to have been in their second trimester, were submerged in a liquid that included human brain tissue.

Rathburn, a former body broker, is accused of defrauding customers by sending them diseased body parts. He has pleaded not guilty and his trial is set for January.

How Rathburn acquired the fetuses and what he intended to do with them is unclear. Rathburn´s lawyers did not respond to requests for comment, and neither the indictment nor other documents made public in his case mention the fetuses.

Indictment

The indictment states IBI would get the bodies and then dismember them to rent out for training. Both Arthur and Elizabeth knew the bodies died from infectious disease, and sometimes “obtained diseased remains from their suppliers at a reduced cost,” according to the documents.

The documents also show IBI would sell to its customers, “falsely representing to those customers that the remains were free from certain infectious diseases” because the customers would not accept some infected remains.

“The scheme included (1) directly profiting from infectious remains supplied to unwitting customers in violation of contractual agreements and (2) not disclosing to customers that IBI failed to take industry standard precautions to prevent potential cross-contamination between infections and non-infectious remains,” the indictment read.

IBI is accused of selling the body parts from January 2007 through December 2013.

The company also failed to take industry-standard precautions when it came to dismembering the body parts, according to the indictment.

Arthur “used a chainsaw, band saw, and reciprocating saw to dismember bodies without taking sanitary precautions,” and “stored human heads by stacking them directly on top of each other without any protective barrier.” WXYZ

U.S. Representatives Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) and Bob Goodlatte (R-VA)

‘This needs to be reviewed,’ said U.S. Representative Marsha Blackburn, a Republican from Tennessee who recently chaired a special U.S. House committee on the use of fetal tissue.

Blackburn recoiled when a Reuters reporter showed her some of the photographs, taken by government officials involved in the raid.

In four of the photos, a crime scene investigator in a hazmat suit uses forceps to lift a different fetus from the brownish liquid. In three other photos, a marker that includes a government evidence identification number lies beside a fetus.

‘The actions depicted in these photos are an insult to human dignity,’ said U.S. Representative Bob Goodlatte, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee.

A Republican from Virginia, Goodlatte said that if individuals ‘violate federal laws and traffic in body parts of unborn children for monetary gain,’ they should be ‘held accountable.’  DailyMail

Legal and virtually unregulated

Reuters’ report noted that in the United States it is legal to buy and sell cadavers and other body parts except for organs used in transplants and certain fetal tissue. However, the multimillion dollar a year body parts industry operates with minimal regulation, which means that “in most states, including Michigan, public health authorities are not required to regularly inspect body broker facilities.”

For example, a reporter for Reuters was able to purchase two human heads and a cervical spine from Restore Life USA after sending just a couple of emails and paying “$900 plus shipping.”  DailyWire

FBI Translator Married The ISIS Terrorist She Was Meant To Be Investigating

Extremely foolish.

She is out of prison –  only 2 years because of her cooperation with authorities.

An FBI translator who was assigned to investigate a bloodthirsty ISIS terrorist wound up falling head-over-heels in love with the man — and married him instead, a report says.

Daniela Greene, 38, was apparently so lovestruck by the German-born jihadist that she left her husband in the US to be with him in war-torn Syria, and then lied to the feds about her whereabouts, according to CNN.

Denis Cuspert — a wannabe rapper-turned-ISIS pitchman — reportedly became the apple of her eye sometime in 2014, despite having a notorious penchant for violence.

He has been spotted showing off the terror group’s savagery in countless execution videos, some of which show him holding severed heads, CNN reports.

Roughly three years after joining the FBI as a linguist, Greene was assigned to the Detroit bureau in Jan. 2014 and asked to probe Cuspert.

By June, she was already smitten by the tatted-up terrorist and making plans to be with him in the Middle East. They reportedly tied the knot in Syria sometime that month.

Greene eventually got cold feet, though, and decided to come back to the US in Aug. 2014. She was immediately arrested upon her return.  Full article at NYPost

Detroit Police Help Hard-Walkin’ Man Move To Safer Home

James Robertson

James Robertson, the Detroit man who walks 21 miles to and from work every day received an outpouring of support, a new Ford car and fundraising of $350,00 has been moved to a safer home by Detroit police.   The police did not just move him they packed his belongings also.

“In Robertson’s meeting with police, Pollock said, “They had four officers talking to him, warning him about his situation, (and then) five officers with garbage bags went to his house” to remove Robertson’s belongings from the second-story apartment for which the molding-machine operator paid $220 a week in rent for years, Pollock said”, reported the  Detroit Free Press.

This says a lot about the character and morality of the people in his city and neighborhood, especially those who know him. None of it complimentary.

The Detroiter who stunned the world with Olympian walks to his suburban factory job — and stunned himself by attracting gifts of a new car and $350,000 in donations — abruptly moved Tuesday to a location he felt was safer, police said.

James Robertson, 56, was helped by Detroit police to move just minutes after crime-prevention specialists offered him temporary living quarters, Detroit police Capt. Aric Tosqui said.

“We had a meeting with him (and) he expressed interest that he did not feel safe,” said Tosqui, commanding officer of the 3rd Precinct…

People were actually asking him for money,” 2nd Deputy Chief June West said. Robertson has yet to receive any of the cash, raised in just a week of Internet donations to a GoFundMe.com page, according to page creator Evan Leedy…

Driving Robertson’s decision was news that last week Detroit police arrested a man charged in the killing of an 86-year-old Detroiter who disappeared in December, three days after the elderly man was said to have won $20,000 in a lottery game, police said.

“He knew about that story, and I also know about an incident in the 1st Precinct where a gentleman was killed after he allegedly won some money,” Tosqui said. “In those two examples, no one approached the department. But if somebody won the lottery tomorrow and contacted us, we would look at the situation in the same way and see what we could do,” he said.  Detroit Free Press
