Video: Hungary Prime Minister Viktor Orban Review Of 2016 And Looking Ahead To 2017

One of the best speeches by a European political leader.

Mr. Orbán talks frankly and lucidly about the major crises that are currently bedeviling Europe, including the “refugee” crisis and the heavy-handed behavior of the European Union towards the nations of Europe — which it considers its vassal states. The prime minister focuses on the primary overarching issue, which is the attempt by trans-national organizations to impose global governance on nation states. He describes the current “populist revolt” that has arisen to resist the globalists, with Brexit and the election of Donald Trump being the most recent major examples. Gates of Vienna

PM Orban:

Respected [former] President Pál Schmitt and his dear wife,  Dear Mrs. Dalma, [former] Prime Minister Peter Boros,  everyone who invited me, ladies and gentlemen. It is good to see you all again,  it is the 19th time — that is way too much, even from dumplings —

I would like to evoke the words of István Szabó, our greatly respected bishop,  in his little story, where two little boys are listening to the mass… “This is boring,”  says the smaller one, then the older boy answers: “Well, this is how supposed to be.” …

Well, dear audience, today we do not have to be afraid of that. The year 2016 was not boring, not the least bit. And the year 2017 looks rather interesting too. We had — and we will have — excitement, surprise, scratching of heads, wiping of foreheads and rubbing of eyes.

We will ask of each other: it is really possible, what unfolds before our eyes,  and takes shape? Who would have thought — just a couple of years ago — that history  would defy the prophecies, and laughingly show the fig sign to the prophets of liberal politics, and would likely show an “up yours!” to the beneficiaries and protectors of the international order: the globalists and liberals, to influential people, living in their ivory tower palaces and sitting in their television studios.  To the army of media locusts and their masters. To everybody who believed, taught and spread,  who enjoyed its gains and absorbed its revenues, that the global liberal world order is unalterable.

If the dissatisfied ones do not keep their mouths shut, or if the media fail to inhibit their voice, then they will be denounced, stigmatized and disinherited. And in this, there is no mercy, even for the new American President.  No wonder then, that the high pressure became permanent in the European Union. The valves sooner or later will seize up and stop working, and the people, lacking any other options, will revolt.

That is, they are kicking it out with their votes,
tossing out the liberal elite. This is how the world works now, respected ladies and gentlemen, respected [former] President, in the wintertime of 2017.

Hungary Will Welcome European Refugees Fleeing Multiculturalism

Hungary will welcome those fleeing from Germany, France… who want “to find the Europe they have lost” at home.  This will boost Hungary’s economy.

Hungarian prime minister Viktor Orban says his country will open its arms to west Europeans fleeing mass immigration and “the lords of globalist politics”.

“We shall let in true refugees”, Mr Orban told a cheering audience: “Germans, Dutch, French and Italians, terrified politicians and journalists who here in Hungary want to find the Europe they have lost in their homelands.”

The populist leader has served as the de facto leader of the central and eastern European countries which have resisted the open borders policies of the European Union (EU) and leading member-states in the west of the continent.

Globalist politicians, Mr Orban contended, are seeking to “sweep away a democracy of debate and replace it with a democracy of [political] correctness”, where “true power, decisions and influence [are] not held by elected governments, but [by] unelected global networks, media gurus and international organisations.”

He cited Britain’s vote to leave the European Union and Donald Trump’s election in the United States as episodes in a wider popular revolt against the “arrogance and condescension” of global elites by ordinary people whose “mouths had been gagged” for too long. Breitbart

The Submission Of The Cultural Marxists And Political Correctness

One of the sad ironies of the 21st century is that the [Central] European countries that were ruled by Marxists for forty-five years are now a refuge from the Cultural Marxism that rules in Western Europe and North America.

The following essay examines the death-grip that Cultural Marxism has on Western Europe. It was written by the Hungarian engineer and economist Károly Lórán

Hungary was the target of a huge number of attacks for building a fence and not accepting migrants. In addition to refuting this criticism, we should think about what motivates our critics, and what is our point of view.

Let’s look at the facts first. We know that immigration to Western Europe started in the 1960s in the form of guest workers who received permanent residence permits, and later their numbers multiplied with family reunifications. From the ‘90s onward increasingly large numbers arrived illegally from Middle Eastern and African countries. What happened to the migrants? Did they integrate into Western society as the politicians who invited them hoped, or their current descendants are hoping? The answer is a definite NO!

While those Central European migrants from a similar culture (European, Christian) have been integrated, the mostly Muslim migrants from the Middle East or Africa ended up in ghettos. We can argue about whether no-go zones exist or not, but segregated ghettoization is a fact, so much so that the Danes have already worked out a concrete definition of it. According to the Danish government, a ghetto is a place where at least three of the following five criteria are fulfilled:

1. At least 2.7% of the population has already been convicted of a crime;
2. The income of the population is less than 55% of the average income of the region;
3. For those between the ages of 30 and 59, more than 50% have no more than an elementary school education;
4. More than 50% of the population is not from Western European countries;
5. Between the ages of 18 and 64, more than 40% are not working and not going to school.

Based on the above criteria, in Denmark there are 34 ghettos, six of them in the Copenhagen area. Migrants living in these ghettos — mostly Muslims — do not wish to live by their host country’s laws, but by their own cultures and traditions, which means the teachings of Islam. According to a survey conducted by the WZB Social Science Center at the behest of the German Parliament, two-thirds of Turkish and Moroccan migrants state than Shariah is more important for them than the law of the host country. This attitude was supported by Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams, who stated that Shariah should gain official status in the United Kingdom. Despite the wishes and statements of some Western leaders, we have proof that in Western Europe parallel societies have formed enclaves that are increasing in size and in time may join up, and in the long term will lead to the full Islamisation of Western Europe.

Another fact contained in the demographic forecasts asserts that the population of Africa will increase by one billion in two decades, which population — taking into account climate change — cannot be sustained there. It’s not hard to imagine what will happen if these people march en masse into Europe.

We must ask the question: do we want our countries to stay ours, or do we gradually submit to Islamic culture — maybe in the form described so vividly in the book by the French writer Michel Houellebecq, Submission? If the answer is NO, then it is clear what we must do: we must defend our country from illegal migrants and repeal the forced settlement attempts by the European Union based on their overbearing policies…

What is obvious for the migrants is much more visible from a Daily Express article from last year where a medical student who left the UK to join ISIS in Syria called for Shariah in his Twitter message. The journalist Leo McKinstry stated that in a healthy society such fanaticism would be treated with utter contempt. But he adds, “…sadly in recent decades, the moral self-confidence of the West has been shattered by the malignant doctrine of political correctness, which holds that it is racist to challenge any cultural practices brought by immigrants.”  Read full essay at GatesOfVienna

Political Correctness promoters value only their standard of knowledge and truth, accepting no other opinions or middle ground.  Another goal of PC promoters is to dismantle the Euro-American culture. The obsession and tactics of the PC promoters is reminiscent of communist and fascist tactics.

Unprecedented: Hungary Opens Office To Help Persecuted Christians

Hungary is the first country whose government is opening an office to help Christians persecuted in the Middle East and Europe.

The nation of Hungary recently did something that is as unprecedented as it is commonsensical and humanitarian: it “has become the first government to open an office specifically to address the persecution of Christians in the Middle East and Europe.”

Zoltan Balog, Hungary’s Minister for Human Resources, explained:

Today, Christianity has become the most persecuted religion, where out of five people killed [for] religious reasons, four of them are Christians. In 81 countries around the world, Christians are persecuted, and 200 million Christians live in areas where they are discriminated against. Millions of Christian lives are threatened by followers of radical religious ideologies.

“Followers of radical religious ideologies” is of course code for Muslims—they who are responsible for the overwhelming majority of Christian persecution in the world.

This move comes “after Hungary’s right-wing prime minister, Victor Orban, drew criticism in the EU by saying Europe should focus on helping Christians before helping millions of Muslims coming into Europe.” Orban explained: “If we really want to help, we should help where the real problem is…. We should first help the Christian people before Islamic people.”

But do Western governments “really want to help” those suffering true persecution? For if they did, not only would taking in “Christian people before Islamic people” be the most humane thing to do; it would also benefit Western nations as well.

Consider some facts: Full article at MEForums

People for decades in Europe have been walking away from the church.  It has also been de-Christianizing itself for decades.  Europe’s religion today seems to be progressive liberalism.  Add to that mix appeasement of Muslims.  Not good.

Christian persecution has risen in recent years with the growth of terror groups such as Boko Haram in Nigeria, the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, and many other extremist factions.

Balog [Zoltan Balog, the Hungarian Minister for Human Capacities] explained that the office has deemed it of “utmost importance” to help persecuted Christians, which will involve coordinating humanitarian action. The office will also monitor how Christianity is treated in Europe.

“Our interest not only lies in the Middle East but in forms of discrimination and persecution of Christians all over the world,” he said. “It is therefore to be expected that we will keep a vigilant eye on the more subtle forms of persecutions within European borders.”

The report noted that the new department, which is estimated to have a 3 million euro budget, is the first of its kind in any country to deal directly with the persecution of Christians. Tamás Török, the former Hungarian deputy ambassador to Italy, has been appointed to oversee the office. ChristianPost

Hungarian Intelligence Expert Warns Thousands Of ‘Muslim Soldiers’ Are Ready To ‘Attack’ Europe

This is here in the U.S. and will get worse if the polices of Obama and Hillary continue. Cascade Mall in Washington State,  homemade bombs in New York,  meat-cleaver attack on NYPD, gay nightclub in Orlando,  knife terror attack at Minnesota mall, etc.

A Hungarian intelligence analyst has warned that “thousands of Muslim soldiers” have arrived in Europe and are plotting an invasion.

Laszlo Foldi claimed that “this is not terrorism in its classic meaning” as they aim to form a “mass base in Europe” by creating political parties to introduce Shariah law to the continent.

The claims were made during the astonishing interview on Hungarian TV, the ex-Director of Operations in the Hungarian Intelligence Agency.

When questioned about the migrant crisis across Europe, Mr Foldi said: “I think the problem is bigger than this: Can they tell, who are the one million people?

“So the situation is completely catastrophic from this point of view. And the reason for this – as we mentioned it many times – is the policy of open borders when innumerable masses arrived.
“This is not terrorism in its classic meaning we are talking about here, but an attack, an invasion which has two purposes.

“In the first place, get as many as possible well-trained soldiers into Europe and their primary task it to enlist the local Muslim population, those second or third generation Muslims who live in the ‘non-existent’ no-go zones.”  ExpressUK

Two Police Officers Injured In Bomb Blast In Budapest, Hungary

A blast in Budapest was caused by a bomb, and police officers were deliberately targeted.

Hungarian authorities staged a manhunt Sunday for the principal suspect in a bomb attack that seriously wounded two patrol officers late Saturday, with authorities saying the homemade device had been planted in an apparent attempt to target police.

The incident comes as countries across Europe are on edge following a series of attacks by suspects linked to or inspired by Islamist extremists, as well as an increasing number of acts of violence carried out by the far-right. National police chief Karoly Papp, however, said investigators had not been able to determine whether Saturday’s attack — near an empty storefront on a main artery in Budapest, the capital — was intended as an act of terrorism. Prime Minister Viktor Orban Affirming Hungary’s National Identity

A 13 minute excerpt  from Mr. Orban’s speech commemorating the country’s independence in 1848.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Europe is not free. Because freedom begins with speaking the truth. Today in Europe it is forbidden to speak the truth. Even if it is made of silk, a muzzle is a muzzle.
It is forbidden to say that those arriving are not refugees, but that Europe is threatened by migration.
It is forbidden to say that tens of millions are ready to set out in our direction.
It is forbidden to say that immigration brings crime and terror to our countries.
It is forbidden to point out that the masses arriving from other civilizations endanger our way of life, our culture, our customs and our Christian traditions.
It is forbidden to point out that those who arrived earlier have already built up their own new, separate world for themselves, with its own laws and ideals, which is forcing apart the thousand-year-old structure of Europe.

Hungary Officially In A “State Of Emergency” And Calls Up Thousands Of Troops Because Of The Migrant Crisis

GettyImages-512024936-640x480Hungary has declared a “state of emergency” because of the migrant crisis and has called up thousands of troops to the border with Romania.  Although the flow of illegal migrants into Hungary has decreased with the completion of the fence last year, there is still concern in Hungary.

Hungarian Minister of Interior Sándor Pintér announced in Budapest on Wednesday that Hungary is officially in a “state of emergency” because of the migrant crisis and has called up thousands of troops to the border with Romania.

Announcing the deployment of troops, the minister said: “we don’t know exactly what reactions those refugees and illegal migrants will have, [those] who are already inside the neighbouring countries. Therefore the government has decided that to prepare for this situation Hungary will strengthen protection of its borders, and we declare a crisis situation due to migration for the entire country.”

New fears of migrants passing through both Romania and Bulgaria to get to Hungary triggered the move, with the unpredictability of the migrant crisis and the migrant flow being a huge cause for concern for the Hungarian government, reports Kronen Zeitung.

The Hungarians are also worried about the growing number of migrants who are stuck in Greece along the border with Macedonia and Bulgaria. There are concerns the tens of thousands now stuck along the Balkans may attempt to force their way through borders, as has been observed in Greece.

Also of concern is the No Borders” activists and events in Greece.

In Greece “No Borders” activists have attempted to arm migrants with bolt cutters and other tools to physically dismantle the border fences along the Macedonian border. Hungary has serious worries that growing numbers and the actions of groups like No Borders could have a domino effect that many smaller countries along the Balkan route may not be able to handle. European Union’s ‘Refugee’ Resettlement Plan In Disarray

Hungary Prime Minister Viktor Orban

The EU’s plan to use compulsory quotas to relocate 160,000 middle-eastern refugees across Europe is in disarray.

The EU’s plan to disperse 160,000 migrants throughout Europe is today in disarray after Hungary voted to reject the controversial scheme.

Despite so far failing to get off the ground with only 1,000 people resettled, it already faces fierce criticism from a number of European politicians.

Hungary’s parliament today gave Prime Minister Viktor Orban the green light to challenge the EU quota system in court. dailymail

Poland’s new right-wing government:

Poland’s new European Affairs Minister Konrad Szymanski said that the attacks ruled out the chances of taking in refugees under the scheme to help ease the burden on EU frontier states Italy and Greece.

“After the tragic events of Paris we do not see the political possibility of respecting them,” said Poland’s new European Affairs Minister Konrad Szymanski. Newsweek

French far-right leader Marine Le Pen:

Le Pen’s National Front (FN) party said in a statement that one of the attackers had arrived in Greece last month “among the mass of migrants who flow into Europe each day.”

The statement, issued three weeks ahead of regional elections in France, added: “As a precaution, Marine Le Pen calls for the immediate halt of all intake of migrants in France.”

In view of Friday’s attacks, which claimed 129 lives, France’s assent to the EU-wide obligatory quota system for migrants was “irresponsible”, the statement said. nz

Hungary’S Orban: Migrant Invastion Is Democrat Manufactored To Import Left-Wing Voters

orbanEuropean left and American democrats importing left-wing voters to maintain power.

The migrant invasion to Europe from the Middle East and Africa may be part of a left-wing plot to pack the continent with sympathetic voters, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has told Swiss magazine die Weltwoche.  He also said that the British make better allies because they apply more “common sense” but argued that whether or not we are a Christian nation and continent is rarely discussed by Prime Minister David Cameron and the broader political right in Britain.

Orban, who was the first European leader to erect a strong and almost impenetrable border fence, has previously hit out at pro migrant invasion individuals and ideologues including Hungarian-American businessman George Soros, whose Open Society Foundations provide funding to almost every pro-migration activist and talking head in the English-speaking world.

“Nobody has raised the question whether this is about our very existence, our cultural identity, our way of life.”

“I read these articles and essays, and it occurs to me that some authors called for a diminishing role of the nation state… The European Left and radical American Democrats have concocted a theory for this new world.

He said the elite, or ruling classes are only concerned with “[c]ute things like human rights, progress, peace, openness, tolerance… We are not talking about freedom, we are not talking about Christianity, we do not talk about the nation and we are not talking about the pride.”….

“They see migration as an opportunity. The left-wing European intelligentsia was theoretically prepared. Now we are dealing with simplicity and power politics: All evidence and experience suggest that the overwhelming majority of these migrants will choose the political left once they are naturalised. So there are future voters left imported into Europe.

His comments are backed up, at least with Britain’s experience with mass migration, with the fact that more immigrants than not vote for the Labour Party, or other left wing parties. BreitBart

Hungarian Prime Minister Accuses Soros Of Stoking Refugee Wave To Weaken Europe

Viktor Orban Prime Minister of Hungary

Soros seems to have gone from trying to destablize Western governments via monetary markets, to now financing radicals to destabilize Western countries.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban accused billionaire investor George Soros of being a prominent member of a circle of “activists” trying to undermine European nations by supporting refugees heading to the continent from the Middle East and beyond.

“His name is perhaps the strongest example of those who support anything that weakens nation states, they support everything that changes the traditional European lifestyle,” Orban said in an interview on public radio Kossuth. “These activists who support immigrants inadvertently become part of this international human-smuggling network.”

Rights groups have criticized Orban for building a razor-wire fence on the border, tightening asylum laws and boosting his support among voters with anti-immigrant rhetoric. Soros, who was born in Hungary and is one of the biggest philanthropists in eastern Europe via his foundations and university, gives grants to organizations that provide legal assistance to asylum seekers.

Former Hungarian Refugee: Hungary Was Right On Migrant Crisis

hungary-fence-borderA very good article by Monica Porter that gives a more complete picture of Hungary.  Her family were refugees in 1956.

Nearly 60 years ago, in the aftermath of the 1956 Uprising, my own family became refugees and it was from this railway station that we began our flight to freedom –  on a train to the Hungarian border with Austria.

A short history of Hungary national traumas and the lack of integration seen in newcomers to Europe.

In the 16th century the Kingdom of Hungary was invaded by the Ottoman Turks, who then occupied the country for 150 years, enslaved its population, converted churches into mosques, laid waste to the countryside and put paid to Hungary’s independence all the way until 1989. After the Ottomans came the Austrian overlords, then in the 20th century the Nazis and the Soviets.

These national traumas over successive centuries are not forgotten. And while the Hungarians are pleased to be part of the EU, they are damned if they will let it ride roughshod over their country’s hard-won, recently regained sovereignty. Still, few of my compatriots can have missed the irony of so many asylum seekers from distant lands clamouring to enter the country that, six decades ago, nearly a quarter-million of us were compelled to flee.

It irks me when muddle-headed people compare the present migrant wave with the Hungarian refugees of 1956. Or, for that matter, to Jews who fled Nazi persecution in the 1930s or joined the post-war diaspora. Besides contributing richly to the societies they settled in – culturally, intellectually and economically – those immigrants shared the same values and could easily integrate.

Sadly, the same cannot be said for many of the more recent newcomers to Europe, who appear to have little fondness for our enlightened, egalitarian, pluralistic ways, but bring with them the sort of intolerance and prejudices we dispensed with several centuries ago. And as for “integration”, look at the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, where Islamic bullies have been known to harass women for wearing short skirts, couples for holding hands, gay men and beer-drinkers.

Consider the rundown banlieues on the outskirts of Paris, ghettos of disaffected Muslim immigrants that are no-go areas for the police. Meanwhile in Sweden anti-Semitic attacks are on the rise but the craven government won’t admit that the perpetrators are recent Muslim immigrants, and not far-right skinheads. I could go on but frankly it’s too depressing. Read the full article at Budapest Times
