Morocco’s King Mohammed VI will cover the legal fees of pop singer Saad Lamjarred, imprisoned in France charged with “aggravated rape”, the official MAP news agency reported on Tuesday.

Rabat’s embassy in Paris confirmed the information.

MAP said the king had told Lamjarred’s family that French lawyer Eric Dupond Moretti, known for securing his clients’ acquittals, “can defend the singer”.

The king “decided to cover the corresponding costs”, MAP said, sourcing its information to Rabat’s embassy in Paris.

The embassy told AFP: “This is a favourable response to a request from the family of the singer who sought his majesty’s intervention, and with respect for the presumption of innocence”.

Lamjarred, 31, is a star in Morocco and the wider Arab world and his internet videos have received hundreds of millions of hits…

According to initial results of the inquiry, Lamjarred was said to be under the influence of both alcohol and drugs at the time of the alleged offences.  DailyMail

Wikileaks: Huma on Hillary’s $12M Morocco Fiasco: ‘She Created This Mess And She Knows It’

Hillary, money grubbing opportunist, drumming up more money from an Islamic country with serious human-rights violations.  How would Hillary act in America’s best interest after all the mega-money the Clinton Foundation has received from other countries?  Those countries own her!

Hillary Clinton supported the monarch when she was secretary of state, and the US-financed Export-Import Bank gave OCP a $92 million loan guarantee during her tenure, the Daily Caller reported.

Hillary Clinton solicited a $12 million donation from a government that her State Department considered corrupt, then realized the “mess” it would cause in her presidential run, a newly leaked email reveals.

King Mohammed VI of Morocco agreed to give the money to the Clinton Foundation, provided that it held a convention in his country in May 2015 with Clinton as the keynote speaker.

But Clinton realized that the conference, slated for a month after she announced her run for president, would hurt her candidacy.

“No matter what happens, she will be in Morocco hosting CGI [Clinton Global Initiative] on May 5-7, 2015. Her presence was a condition for the Moroccans to proceed so there is no going back on this,” top Clinton aide Huma Abedin wrote to campaign manager Robby Mook in a November 2014 email revealed by WikiLeaks.

In another email, Abedin warned that if Clinton didn’t attend, the $12 million would be off the table.

“CGI also wasn’t pushing for a meeting in Morocco and it wasn’t their first choice. This was HRC’s idea, our office approached the Moroccans and they 100 percent believe they are doing this at her request. The King has personally committed approx $12 million both for the [foundation’s] endowment and to support the meeting,” Abedin continued. NYPost

ISIS Sets Sights On Overthrowing Governments Of Morocco and Tunisia

North_Africa_regions_mapAmid growing civil unrest in Morocco and Tunisia, ISIS has launched a media campaign directed at Muslims to attack both states and oust their ‘apostate’ democratic governments.

The campaign, launched on Thursday, consists of several videos released by different ISIS provinces. The jihadists participating in the campaign call on Muslims to join ISIS strongholds in Tunisia, Libya, Mali and Algeria in order to oust the apostate democratic governments of Tunisia and Morocco and replace them with an Islamic regime based on Sharia law.

ISIS jihadists blame the Islamic Maghreb’s governments for striving to ‘westernize’ Muslims by cultivating Western lifestyle which contradicts the Islamic tradition in their state. They also vehemently attack Tunisia for its participation in the international coalition against ISIS, claiming that Tunisia takes part in the killing of Sunnis together with Russia and the US, in the guise of fighting terror.

A Tunisian jihadist speaking in the video urges Muslims to attack Tunisia, saying: “Follow in the footsteps of your brothers in Paris. Is it easier to bypass the security measures in Paris than in Tunisia? No. But we know Tunisia and we know its coward policemen. Hence, you can do twice as much as your brothers have done in France.” JPost
